CSan Jose, Calif. - A jury has a Las Vegas man accused of more than 27 million spam messages to Facebook users have sent.
The 41-year-old Sanford Wallace, who was known as the "Spam King", had surrendered himself Thursday.
According to prosecutors, Wallace between November 2008 and March 2009 huge quantities of spam through the company's servers to about 500,000 Facebook accounts sent.
A judge Wallace in March 2009 banned the social network, but the charge against him alleges that he ordered in a month breached.
Wallace faces six counts of mail fraud, three counts of damage to a protected computer and two counts of criminal contempt.
